ABOUT ME
I bring to my practice more than 30 years of corporate, nonprofit, and government experience. I have successfully driven complex organizational transformations and launched new brands and businesses across the globe—all by building, mentoring, and aligning exceptional teams. (Read more about my background here.)

As an executive, I delved deeply into what motivates people to create, collaborate, and grow. Developing a full-time consultancy helping leaders and their teams perform at their best was a natural progression.

Certified by the International Coaching Federation and a graduate of Columbia University’s Coaching Certification program, I blend together the best of research-based adult learning and development frameworks with my real-world experience. My clients include executive and senior leaders in the corporate and nonprofit sectors from around the world and across many fields, including technology, media, fashion, healthcare, education, financial services, marketing, and communications.

My services are highly customized to each leader's or organization's needs: You may be seeking a thought partner for a specific strategy or set of challenges; you may want to boost your leadership profile and need help developing compelling communications and presentations; or you may be in the People and Culture department looking for a coach to create a leadership program for high potential employees. Whatever the need, I ensure we align on your goals and then keep a sharp focus on progress and results.
I work with most of my clients virtually but am happy to meet in person in the New York City metropolitan area–and beyond! (A longtime resident of Brooklyn, I now live in the Hudson Valley.)
Lastly, since this is “about me” I want to share two community efforts that are close to my heart: For 15 years I’ve been bicycling with my family and friends in the Pan Mass Challenge (PMC), a 2-day, 165-mile ride that raises funds for Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Cancer has touched our family–and so many families–and I’m proud to report that since our team began riding in the PMC we have raised more than $100,000–all of which goes to cancer research and treatments. Learn more here.
The second is the Pacama Conservation Collective, an organization my neighbors and I recently launched here in the Hudson Valley to preserve open space and critical habitat. More on Pacama here.
I look forward to connecting!

My services are highly customized for each client. Here are some focus areas and types of engagements to consider as a starting point.
Strategy Development
If you are working on a specific, time-bound strategy/project, we will work together to create concrete goals, define success markers, and align on a roadmap and process for achieving them.
Engagement: 1 to 3 months
Career Mentorship
If you are aiming for a promotion or looking for a new position, we will zero in on your strengths and build your storytelling skills. Creating a compelling case or resume, tapping into networks, and preparing for interviews will be areas of focus.
Engagement: 3 to 6 months
Coaching & Advising
If you are eager to take your leadership to the next level, we will identify your strengths and style, explore barriers and blind spots, and develop new leadership muscles within the context of your company's mission and goals.
Engagement: 3 to12 months
What is coaching?
Coaching is a partnership. Together we identify your goals and the strategies for reaching them. I don’t have the answers; I have the right questions so you can discover the answers within yourself. As you do, I will be supremely supportive and ruthlessly honest so you can achieve and embrace real progress—and then continue to do so on your own after our engagement ends.
What is the difference between coaching and consulting?
Coaching is a process designed to help you or your team define goals and unlock the best means for achieving them. Consultants help you produce specific deliverables—anything from a strategy, an assessment or a program design. I do both.
How often do we meet?
My services are highly customized to each client, but you can expect to meet biweekly or monthly, with anything in between as needed.
What do I need to do to prepare for our engagement?
Think about your goals: what you hope to achieve and what success will look like. If you have received any formal assessments or 360s, please send them my way. That’s it–no other preparation needed.
